Chapter 1.1: Starting a Family

Lucie Wintergreen is hypothetically not a first generation Sim. She inherited her house from her brothers after her family moved back to Bridgeport, realizing the Sunset Valley life was not for them. She named it Chateau de Wintergreen.

Her brothers left her a house but with no cash.

She spent her days looking for work as a stylist. (Why didn't anyone in this town need a makeover?!)

Until she met local semi-successful businessman, David Lee.

After the wedding (a.k.a. after he moved in), they had money to afford the luxuries of a maid.

Their daily life became routine and mundane, with David going off to work Monday to Friday and Lucie scrambling to find residents in desperate need of a makeover.

Until she threw up.

In her first trimester when her stomach didn't show as much, she took up gardening, an activity she had been enjoying these days to keep her occupied and also to save them money by not having to buy groceries!

But the hours passed and her stomach grew larger. She hated being outside anyway--so she decided to brush up on her fashion concepts, preparing to continue to go back to work after the birth of her baby.

They only had a few hundred to their names so David really couldn't afford a repairman when their computer broke down.

   "Honey, just fix it yourself!"

"It's not me. This wrench is just too big!"

Their finances proved to be at its lowest when the repoman came to take away their paintings, their end table, as well as their stove.

But despite all their hardships, David and Lucie were truly in love.

   "I can feel it kicking."

   "I bet it's a boy." Lucie said.

"A kick like this can only be a girl." said David.

The proud parents were blessed with two new additions, Anthony and Adeline, much to their surprise. Although they weren't prepared for twins, they made do with what they had.

A simple but functional nursery was all they needed to provide the love for their children.

And Lucie could finally go back to gardening.
